Ion Breahna
Ion Breahna fell in love with ballet at the age of ten. He began his formal training at the National Choreographic College in Moldova, graduating in 2019. From 2017 to 2019, he was a member of the ensemble at the Moldovan National Theater Maria Bieșu, where he gained valuable experience and recognition in Moldovan ballet. After 2019, he continued his career in Ukraine, where he still performs today.
Ion Breahna has participated in numerous international tours across the United States, China, Germany, Scotland, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Spain, and other countries. In addition to performances, he has competed in several prestigious ballet competitions, achieving outstanding results, including the Gran Prix Kyiv 2015 in Ukraine, the Grand Prix and 1st place at the Crystal Swan competition in Romania in 2016, 1st place at the Rigas Pavasaris competition in Latvia in 2017, 1st place at the International Ballet Festival in Italy in 2018, and 3rd place at the VIAF 2019 in Austria.
His repertoire includes principal and supporting roles in classic ballets such as Swan Lake (Jester and Prince Siegfried), Giselle (Albert), The Nutcracker (Spanish, Chinese, French, and Russian dances, Fritz, Nutcracker, and Prince), Don Quixote (Basilio), and others. With his unique technical skills and artistic expression, Ion Breahna strives to captivate audiences worldwide. His passion for ballet, combined with his continuous drive for improvement, places him among the exceptional young dancers contributing to the revival of classical and contemporary ballet on the international stage.
