Nuša Urnaut


Nuša Urnaut, born in Maribor, began her ballet journey in 2011 at the Conservatory for Music and Ballet Maribor. In 2022, she graduated from the Conservatory for Music and Ballet Maribor under the guidance of Nikolai Chilnikov. Throughout her education, she performed with the ensemble of the Slovene National Theatre Maribor in productions such as Mountain Flower, Don Quixote, Giselle, and Swan Lake.

Immediately after finishing her studies, she toured with the Slovene National Theatre Maribor in Hong Kong, Germany, and Italy. Her repertoire includes ensemble and demi-soloist roles in ballets and operas such as Romeo and Juliet, The Nutcracker, Giselle, Swan Lake, Carmen, The Lady of the Camellias, Peer Gynt, Faust, Zorba the Greek, La Traviata, and more.

Through additional training at international seminars, she has had the opportunity to work with various dancers, teachers, and choreographers, including Jiří Bubeniček, Ronald Savković, Leo Mujić, Vladimir Shishov, Olga Esina, Maria Eichwald, Yelena Pankova, and Aleksandr Lukjanov, among others.

She joined the ballet ensemble of the Slovene National Theatre Maribor as its youngest member in 2023.
